為什麼孩子說話你不想聽？為什麼爸媽說話你只想走開？不是他們很煩很囉嗦，不是你工作好累無法聽，很可能根本原因是你對你的孩子不好奇，你對你父母不好奇。

若有好奇心，就會想了解更多，就會認真傾聽對方。

若有好奇心，即便當下你無法好好傾聽，你也會想辦法跟他約其他時間聽他說，不是嗎？

試想，你眼前是你的偶像、你超級無敵欣賞的人，若他對你說話時，你會不聽嗎？ 不會的，你甚至聽得入迷不想離開！因為你會很好奇他想對你說什麼。

It’s not necessarily because they’re annoying or long-winded. It’s not even just because you’re too tired after work.

The real reason might be this: you’re not curious about them.

You're not curious about what your child is thinking. You're not curious about what’s going on in your parents’ world.

But when you're curious, you naturally want to understand more—you want to listen.

Even if you’re busy or distracted in the moment, if you're truly curious, you’ll find another time to sit down and hear them out. Right?

Now imagine this: your biggest idol, the person you admire most, is talking to you. Would you walk away? Of course not.

You’d be hanging on their every word, totally captivated. Because you're genuinely curious about what they have to say.
